I am originally from Gorizia- an Italian town on the border with Slovenia- but I have called London my home since 2006. My first love in the world of the arts was music when I discovered classical piano at the age of 7 (my longest relationship to date).
As an actress, I have mostly played Latin, Eastern European and Italian, but I have also had the pleasure to play Miranda in The Tempest in the year of Shakespeare’s 600th Birthday, at the Steiner Theatre in London.
I have always been fascinated by foreign languages and cultures - probably because of my geographical circumstances- so alongside acting, I continued studying English, Spanish and German.
Blessed with natural dark humour and suffering from incurable romanticism- I would love to be the neurotic heroin in the new Almodovar’s movie, or to play a vengeful, scornful sorcerer in a BBC period drama.
I will be performing with my one-woman show Clara: Sex, Love & Classical Music at RamJam Records in Kingston Upon Thames on August 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
